Enrollment is open to children ages 2 1/2 through ages 5 1/2. We have two mixed-age classes. The younger class is for children 2 1/2 to 3 1/2, with a class size of 9 children with two teachers. The older preschool class is children ages 3 1/2 or 4 to 5 1/2, with children often turning six while still enrolled in the preschool. This class has 18 students with two full time teachers.
All of the teachers at Morning Meadow have complied with the regulations mandated by the Department of Children and Family Services. They have both CPR and First Aid Certification, as well as the 40 hours of early childhood educational classes developed by DCF. In addition, all lead teachers are certified Waldorf educators having a degree in Early Childhood provided by a Waldorf Teacher Training Institute.
Our school also has a first and second grade for children ages 6 and older. Our curriculum is based on Waldorf pedagogy, and as such provides a rich experience in arts, academics, music, and sciences, as well as a healthy balance of outdoor activity.
Morning Meadow has 2, 3 and 5 day options:
2-days: $345.00 per month.
3 days: $375.00 per month.
5 days: $450.00 per month.
We follow the public school calendar except for the beginning of the school year, when Morning Meadow opens after Labor Day in September.
Our school year begins in September and runs until June. We have a summer camp option available for six consecutive weeks.

Come join us as we enjoy creative play, baking, cooking, clay work, art and crafts. Plenty of fresh air with morning outside time and water play with sprinklers, hoses and mud pies!
Storytelling, sewing, making butter and ice cream are a few of the summer camp activities.
